About Corson Custom Homes

With over 28 years + of on the job professional field experience in residential construction, we offer a unique perspective as a custom Design + Build Firm.  Travis Corson grew up in and around the construction trade.  Many of his family members, including his father, have worked in the local trades for decades.  Travis experienced his first job site visit at the age of 8 when he witnessed his first foundation excavation & learned how to shoot grade for the first time on a new home being built in LeClaire, Iowa.  Literally growing up with a power tool in his hand, it was a natural progression for Travis to land in the trades himself, following many of his family members before him.   Early in his career Travis narrowed his profession to becoming a well known expert framing carpenter in the local home building industry.  Later in 2008 Travis began his own business Corson Construction.  Over the last sixteen years Travis has grown the business into two specialized businesses operating as Corson Custom Homes, LLC & Corson Construction.  Both are currently operated out of Pleasant Valley, Iowa where Travis currently lives with his wife, Carrie who also now helps with the business & son.  We spend our time as Corson Custom Homes working as a husband and wife team designing & building custom new construction homes for our clients, building personal spec homes to sell & Corson Construction offers General Contracting services as well as framing, roofing & siding subcontracting. 

 In our family we are avid baseball fans.  Go Cubs Go!  During our down time you can most likely find us at a baseball, soccer or basketball game in the area cheering on our little guy.
