Our Process

1. Consultation

At our first sit-down consultation we'll make sure we're the perfect match for each other.  We'll share our home building process while continuing to answer all your questions and concerns about building a new home.  During this time we'll chat home design theme, layout, floor plan, lot size and of course budget.  If you decide we are a good fit & decide to move forward with our Design phase, once the initial plans are made, we'll create an estimate from our trusted team of subcontractors.   Bids can normally take anywhere from 2-6 weeks.  Bidding a project is important to ensure the costs align with your budget.  The initial estimate will determine if we need to tweak plans to accommodate the budget.

2. Lot Selection 

Whether you already have a lot or have no idea where to even begin to start looking, we are happy to help!  If you already own your lot or have a lot in mind, that is great!  We would be happy to check out your lot to see what type of home plan may work best for your lot.  Have no idea where to even begin looking for a lot?  No worries!  We are here to help!  We work with trusted real

3. The Design 

We specialize in high end custom home design + build.  We love working with our clients from initial concept to completion to build your dream home just how you envision it or hopefully if we succeed, even better than you dreamed.  We work with local & web based Architectural Designers who can help create your perfect fully custom home plan.  We find that every detail is considered by having the Builder, draftsman, designer & homeowner working together to make sure your custom dream home is exactly what you hoped for.  Our trusted group of subcontractors & craftsman specialize in the installation of the custom details that will help make your home unique to you & your personal design aesthetic & style.  We believe your home should be beautiful, a reflection of who you are & who you aspire to be while also remaining functional for your family whatever stage of life you may be at.  

We also have a selection of signature semi-custom home plans available for homeowners to choose from for those who prefer to simplify the design + build process & selection decisions a bit.  If you choose one of our signature semi-custom floor plans, you are able to work with our designer to customize your exterior & interior finishes to your personal style to create a signature look.

Whether you decide to build a luxury fully custom home or a signature semi-custom home with Corson Construction we believe that it is of the utmost importance to select specific design materials & quality finishes as your home is being planned before being built.  Homeowners will have the opportunity to work directly with our designer along the planning stages on all selection materials, so you are not alone making every decision along the way.  That ensures that our bid is as accurate as possible for your consideration & most importantly ensures that your wishes are considered when designing the home.  

4. Bid Presentation Review & Contract

Once your home plans and designs are finalized we will present you with an estimate to build your home.  After you have had a chance to review, approve and secure financing we will provide a contract for you to sign to get started building your new home!  

5. Let's Build Your Dream Home!

We will start out by securing your spot in our schedule to begin building your home.  We will secure all applicable permitting necessary in the area the home is being built.  We will get building!  If you have questions along the way we will be available.  Should you decide to make any changes during the build out that is no problem, a change order will be completed.

6. Walk Through Appointments

There are a handful of appointments that you will need to attend during regular business hours.  Walk-through appointments are an important part of the building process to ensure all your wishes are met.  There are several different walk through stages.  1. Electrical: Here you will select your lighting and electrical locations & add on any specific smart home options.  2. Trim: At this appointment, you'll meet the trim carpenters to discuss trim details and any available options.  3. Closing: Together we will complete a thorough inspection of your home before closing. 

7. Move in & enjoy making memories in your brand new dream home!  

You can rest comfortably knowing that we will provide a one year builders warranty to make sure your home is exactly what you dreamed of!
